  5.        This is not freeware and if you like it and use it you should
  6. send a mere $15 to me at the address that follows. By doing this you 
  7. will feel very good about yourself (and so will I) and you will be
  8. helping me spend more time at the beach. Oh, and you'll also receive
  9. the first update which will be available soon. This update will have
  10. more features, a better look and will have user-customizing
  11. possibilities to add your own programs to The File Machine. And it 
  12. won't have the opening box when executed (the "nag" box won't nag).

  22. The information about this program will follow soon but I just want
  23. to mention that there are a couple "light" humorous message boxes used
  24. in this program instead of the usual common (sometimes technical and 
  25. boring) messages. I hope you like them. If you do, please let me know 
  26. because I really would like to add more. If not, please don't take offense.

  35. To run RESDUET+ you will need the VBRUN300.DLL Visual Basic runtime 
  36. file (found on most BBS's) in your Windows or Windows/system directory
  37. (as long as this is in your path statement). Then add a new program
  38. item to one of your groups (File*New*OK, etc.) using the icon with
  39. RESDUET+. I don't know if this will run in Windows 3.0 but it should.

  41. The files included with RESDUET+ are:
  42.  1. resduet.exe - to be placed in any directory (you may want this in
  43.  your start-up group also).
  44.  2. resduet.txt - this file
  45.  3. threed.vbx  - to be placed in your Windows or Windows\system 
  46.  directory if you don't  already have it. (Please make sure this is the
  47.  most recent version).
  48.  4. resduet.ini - will only be created in your Windows directory 
  49.  (assuming Windows is on your "C" drive) if you change the restart/resource
  50.  panel position and save the change.

  53. RESTART/RESOURCE PANEL:
  54. I won't get into very many instructions here because they are included
  55. in the program but the important ones are;
  56. *  To re-position the restart/resource panel, click on the "time" panel
  57. with the right mouse button.                           
  58. *  To read the restart/resource panel instructions, click on the 
  59. "resource" panel with the right mouse button.
  60. *  To open The File Machine, click on the "time" panel with the left 
  61. mouse button.
  62. *  To check your available memory space and available disk space, click
  63. on the "resource" panel with your right mouse button.

  66. THE FILE MACHINE:
  67. Most of this is self-explanatory and also includes instructions. The 
  68. "buttons" in the center of The File Machine open the pictured files 
  69. when you click on them with the left mouse button. If you click on
  70. them  with the right mouse button a different file opens.

  92. That's about all for me. Well, almost. One thing I hate to see in any 
  93. program or text file or in any printed piece (magazine, letter, 
  94. newspaper)is bad grammar and misspelled words (obviously, newspapers
  95. drive me crazy). So, if you find any in my programs please let me know
  96. how completely stupid I am.
